This tradition of excellence was passed on and is followed by his son Emanouil Karagiannidis, while it made the name Karagiannidis synonymous to good service and fair prices at high quality standards.

Karagiannidis & Sons and Gebr. Schoemaker GmbH & Co. KG share a long and common history. Our founder, Ioannis Karagiannidis, learned the business at Gebr. Schoemaker and even after founding his own company the two traditional ship-suppliers were in close business relations.
After living side by side for decades, the two companies intensified their business relationship in 2012, meaning the incorporation of Karagiannidis & Sons into the Gebr. Schoemaker Group. Thus, Karagiannidis & Sons is able to benefit from both huge capacities and a large network.
